At Infinite Point, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine therapies combine traditional healing with modern practices. Kenny Chen, founder and sole practitioner, has created a nurturing space where you can relax.

Kenny’s passion for acupuncture was sparked by his own healing journey from sports injuries. He experienced the power of acupuncture under the care of a Christchurch acupuncturist, who later became his mentor, inspiring him to become an acupuncturist himself.

He is also a third-generation Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Growing up in Malaysia, where two generations of his family dispensed Chinese Herbal Medicine in the family clinic, Kenny was curious and inquisitive. He often stood by his grandfather's side, watching what he was doing and asking a million questions! Later, when the family moved to Christchurch, he continued his learning with his mother.

Kenny earned a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Auckland, complemented by Diplomas in Qigong and Chinese Herbal Medicine. His training was immersive, encompassing extensive clinical hours and a broad range of acupuncture experience, including an intensive three-month internship in the Southern Medical University Hospital in Guangzhou and large corporate business settings in New Zealand.
